Innovation is everywhere. In 2007, we began podcasting and interviewing technology experts and innovators. In 2010, we rolled out our online magazine Techistan and social video Muntwo. We are media partner for hundreds of Earth's favorite empowering events. We hope you enjoy listening to our conversations here on DIDX podcasts.

About us: Super Technologies, Inc. was a dotcom startup in 1999 ... providing voice over dialup Internet services and Virtual Phone Lines (a service that enables people and organizations to have a local presence in any of up to 60 countries and be a local call to their VIP) via direct inward dialing and SIP.

In 2005, we started DIDX, enabling 10 telecoms to buy and/or sell phone numbers wholesale. By 2011, we now serve 18,000 wholesale IP communications companies on DIDX.

Conversations with Tech and Social Leaders

DIDX Audio Podcasts is a program devoted to the art and craft of technology and social leadership and inspiration. The show, created and hosted by the DIDX.net team since 1999, features interviews with real people who have accomplished things we want to share. They are of different nations, religions, careers, gender, and attitudes. Be inspired! And please recommend others for us to interview and let you eavesdrop on!

Kickstarter How to Start and Run VoIP Business by Vilius Stanislovaitis

  • Kickstarter How to Start and Run VoIP Business by Vilius Stanislovaitis
  • VoIP is dead? No. It's a star on Kickstarter with the "How to Start and Run VoIP Business" book campaign. It doubled its financial goal and still has one week to go. What do I need to start VoIP business? How do I find a VoIP provider? How do I find DID numbers? The search and answers led him to write a white paper specifically targeted to those who wanted to start a calling card business.

Vilius received more questions from contacts who read his whitepaper, so he wrote and published the book "How to Start and Run VoIP Business."

Pledge at least $26 USD to Vilius' Kickstarter compaign to publish his book "How to Start and Run VoIP Business;" get a hard copy with a personalized message inside. Vilius says, "Drop me a message through the Kickstarter page that you listened to this DIDX podcast."

Mr. Stanislovaitis wrote the book "How to start and run VoIP Business" and is the chief sales officer at Kolmisoft, the company that creates class 4 & 5 softswitches to manage VoIP business easily. We discuss Kickstarter success, the death of VoIP, what not to do in VoIP business startup, Guy Kawasaki's book Ape and Vilius's invite to contact him with questions. Vilius is fast and helpful in response! This podcast is an inspiration for VoIP startups and for veteran VoIP Cos and those interested in the power of communicating over Internet, convenient, flexible, and scalable.

He says, first, VoIP startups do not plan revenue-generating activities. They place all emphasis on technology instead. They create the solution and then wait for customers...and wait...and wait.  The second most common mistake of VoIP startups is not paying attention to MVP, minimally viable product.

BTW, let Guy Kawasaki know Vilius was very much inspired by his book APE (Author Publisher Entrepreneur) to write "How to Start and Run VoIP Business."

Vilius says Kickstarter helped him to see if his book is relevant. His Kickstarter strategy is preparation at least a few months in advance, rolling out emails and follow up quickly. He has more than 10K contacts with interest in VoIP business over time. Many are his backers and supporters. His marketing efforts? He uses VoIP calls, email, Skype chat and posts in LinkedIn and Twitter to garner support of his Kickstarter campaign for "How to Start and Run VoIP Business."

While recording of the DIDX interview with Vilius Stanislovaitis, his "How to Start and Run VoIP Business" Kickstarter campaign increased its backing from 129 to 137 backers with so far $6,565 in funding. An Italian contributor chose a fun pledge level at $1098 USD with a reward of an exclusive one day tour of Lithuania including dinner with Vilius plus a signed copy of the book, and PDF copy. Pass on the Start VoIP Business Kickstarter campaign link. Let's pull together as an industry and represent.
