Innovation is everywhere. In 2007, we began podcasting and interviewing technology experts and innovators. In 2010, we rolled out our online magazine Techistan and social video Muntwo. We are media partner for hundreds of Earth's favorite empowering events. We hope you enjoy listening to our conversations here on DIDX podcasts.

About us: Super Technologies, Inc. was a dotcom startup in 1999 ... providing voice over dialup Internet services and Virtual Phone Lines (a service that enables people and organizations to have a local presence in any of up to 60 countries and be a local call to their VIP) via direct inward dialing and SIP.

In 2005, we started DIDX, enabling 10 telecoms to buy and/or sell phone numbers wholesale. By 2011, we now serve 18,000 wholesale IP communications companies on DIDX.

Conversations with Tech and Social Leaders

DIDX Audio Podcasts is a program devoted to the art and craft of technology and social leadership and inspiration. The show, created and hosted by the DIDX.net team since 1999, features interviews with real people who have accomplished things we want to share. They are of different nations, religions, careers, gender, and attitudes. Be inspired! And please recommend others for us to interview and let you eavesdrop on!

Suzanne Bowen of DIDX Interviews GreenAppX's Jim Safran on Cloud Computing and ITEXPO

  • Suzanne Bowen of DIDX Interviews GreenAppX's Jim Safran on Cloud Computing and ITEXPO
  • Jim Safran is Ceo of GreenAppX. They take companies and businesspeople from where they are with what they are used to such as Blackberry RIM and Cisco WebX. Rather than loading typical applications to a local server, GreenAppX moves them to secure data centers around the USA.

The cost-savings of GreenAppX cloud services include no need to buy expensive servers, get licenses or hire in-house full time employees to do system adminstration. Their high-profile and even newer startup customers are able to add licenses per seat as needed, but if their growth increases or decreases according to their services or product peak or low seasons, they are able to adjust licensing, and avoid the typical penalties with non-cloud computing services.

Patch updates, spam control, virus product and software version updates are an easy click away and constantly running. Everyone in the company knows that every time they log on to work, everything is up-to-date and current.

Companies' IT staff can be re-routed to other more important human-touch intensive needs

Jim Safran discusses the difference among the terms "value added resellers (VARs)" and "system integrators," and how the SAAS platforms complement their business model best. Another natural channels is the telecom master agents who have exclusive agreements with carriers. He touches on the changes in the industry such as moving away from the model of trunk roll and fixed telecom to new sustainable revenues.
