Innovation is everywhere. In 2007, we began podcasting and interviewing technology experts and innovators. In 2010, we rolled out our online magazine Techistan and social video Muntwo. We are media partner for hundreds of Earth's favorite empowering events. We hope you enjoy listening to our conversations here on DIDX podcasts.

About us: Super Technologies, Inc. was a dotcom startup in 1999 ... providing voice over dialup Internet services and Virtual Phone Lines (a service that enables people and organizations to have a local presence in any of up to 60 countries and be a local call to their VIP) via direct inward dialing and SIP.

In 2005, we started DIDX, enabling 10 telecoms to buy and/or sell phone numbers wholesale. By 2011, we now serve 18,000 wholesale IP communications companies on DIDX.

Suzanne Bowen Interviews Michael Elfellah of Global Digitec

  • On the cutting edge of innovation describes Global Digitec. Their launch date is October 15, 2009, making this podcast a pre-Gala opening! Michael Elfellah, CEO of Global Digitec, is an excellent speaker on the empowerment of the six in one service they offer, explanation in easy to understand language the power of NGN services and direct inward dialing.

Michael shares with you the definition of NGN with some *ITU nomenclature as a provider of packet-based network to provide services such as telecommunications, video, data... with the potential for interactive content, transport, convergence, delivery, all independent of underlying technologies.

As an NGN, they do not own the content or infrastructure; however, they do own and operate softswitching and service integration resources, facilities and technologies. This allows them to work other service providers to deliver content to its intended destination in real time or on demand. LCR plays a huge role here with quality and cost efficiency in mind.

Global Digitec was careful in their research of wholesale DID providers and chose DIDX because of its expertise, knowledge base, range of DID phone numbers, its early inception of the concept of Virtual Phone Line by Rehan Ahmed in 1999 which led to DIDXchange, and the largest geographical coverage. SIP DID is an integral part of NGN technology in is GPS independency on any IP-based platform

NGN = Imagination is the limit.

(Bit of background noise and my "mmm's" but the content of this interview from Michael Elfellah of Global Digitec is priceless. The "mmm's" were just my appreciation for Michael's ability to take complex terms and explain them in a way that anyone can understand.)
